Ordering and Aftercare

When you commission a tree with Nero, the journey is always collaborative and personal. For individual orders, Nero creates a unique piece tailored to your preferences and keeps you updated with photos, and videos if requested, so you can follow the creative process as your tree takes shape. Delivery dates are agreed in advance, and the tree is carefully packaged and shipped with full aftercare and cleaning instructions provided.

For larger commissions, such as orders for hotels, offices or organisations, Nero offers an even more hands-on approach. He begins with a showcase piece to confirm every detail before progressing with the full order, providing regular progress updates throughout. Installation is included free of charge, ensuring each tree is placed perfectly in its new setting. To give additional peace of mind, Nero provides a complimentary one-month post-installation check, with optional six-monthly or annual aftercare visits available.

Order Confirmation & Customisation

Each order is carefully discussed and finalised through a personal conversation with NeroWireArt – with Nero as the artist behind the trees, and his wife and partner in the business managing the conversations and details. This ensures that every aspect is clearly understood before work begins. Because every tree is unique, preferences are confirmed with you – whether it’s the size of the tree, from small to extra large, or the number of trees being commissioned.

You’ll also be able to choose the style of the trunk, such as a flat, braided or multi-coloured design, and the type of foliage that best suits your space, from flat or fir leaves to single or multi-coloured options. The base of the tree can be tailored too, with choices ranging from a traditional bonsai pot to a flat wooden base or a handmade rock-shaped base.

Finally, extra features can be added to give the tree even more character, including large rocks, grass, moss, sand or even lights. These conversations ensure that every commission is truly personal, reflecting your taste and environment while allowing Nero to focus fully on his artistic craftsmanship.

Orders

Nero can also take on larger orders for hotels, offices, or organisations looking for a distinctive and artistic décor. When ordering multiple trees, the timeframes, delivery costs and pricing differ from individual commissions. The table below gives an outline of estimates for both single tree orders and bulk orders of 10 trees.

All details are subject to confirmation per individual order, as every single tree is handcrafted and completely unique.

Care & Maintenance

Nero’s wire bonsai trees are wonderfully easy to look after. They remain shiny and beautiful without any special treatment. To keep them looking their best:

  • Dusting the base – simply wipe gently with a soft cloth.

  • Cleaning the foliage – use a soft brush, or for delicate areas, a small vacuum with a gentle suction head can be held near the foliage to lift dust. This is only needed around once every six months.

The trees are designed to be durable and easy to maintain. In the rare event that a branch is accidentally bent or damaged, please contact us to discuss. Repairs are typically quick and straightforward - after all, it’s wire!
